Salvador Dali (May 11, 1904 – January 23, 1989) was a prominent Spanish surrealist painter best known for the striking and bizarre images in his works.  Dali’s expansive artistic repertoire included film, sculpture, and photography in collaboration with a range of artists in a variety of media such as Alfred Hitchcock and Walt Disney.  His work is celebrated in museums around the world, the most prominent of them being in Catalonia, Spain and St. Petersburg, Florida.

This hand signed print was originally produced to accompany an art exhibition featuring Dali.  Before the internet, books and portfolios were a long-established way for galleries to promote their special shows.  Many of the books and portfolios were kept by the galleries and then broken up for sale, with some prints signed and other unsigned by Dali.  For certification of authenticity (COA), we are relying on the galleries from which we purchased to verify the artwork and signatures.
