Description

Stephen Fishwick is one of America’s most popular artists, with his works featured in galleries around the world. His live performances at the Disney Festival of the Arts at the EPCOT Center in Orlando are one of the highlights of that annual show. Corporations are also quite familiar with his great work, as he has done performance art for such leading organizations as Microsoft, Apple, Coca-Cola, National Geographic, and Honda, as well as sports organizations like the National Football League and the San Diego Padres. His work reflects his professional and personal education as an artist, from his time at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh to his own careful study of some of the greatest artists of all time. Many of his images are familiar, including series depicting music stars, endangered species, and Disney characters. Disney recognized him as a Disney Fine Artist, a distinction only rarely granted. His art featuring music icons is prominently featured in such establishments as the Hard Rock facilities and his For Lifeseries of endangered species is often seen in zoos and aquariums.
